Ryjock was founded by its managing director in 2004 to utilise over forty years of trade knowledge and become the established business we find today. Based in Sheffield, the majority of our work is undertaken in and around Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and The Midlands.
We consider ourselves a team of passionate personnel who strive to offer our clients a first-class service. Over the years Ryjock has gained a strong reputation for quality workmanship and meeting project criteria with minimal hassle. This combination is the driving force behind Ryjock where we pride ourselves on offering a friendly, professional, reliable and honest service. We firmly believe in building long lasting relationships with our clients and providing an efficient service, time and time again.
We are members of the CFA (Contract Flooring Association), Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), Constructionline and are NHS approved. All our workmen are CSCS registered and have obtained all the necessary qualifications including NVQ’s, Health and Safety training, asbestos awareness training and face fit testing.
We are also a proud member of Recofloor, the vinyl take back scheme. We have achieved award winning status in both 2017 and 2018 with the scheme, something we are deeply proud of. We as a company are aware of our responsibilities to the environment around us and wherever possible act responsibly when it comes to recycle and waste management.
At Ryjock we take health & safety very seriously. Ryjock commits to operating in accordance with the health and safety at Work Act 1974, The Management of health & safety Regulations 1999 and all other applicable regulations and codes of practice, so far as is reasonably practicable.
We employ external advisors to help us comply with all the latest health & safety Regulations and as required prior to commencing on site, we will provide all the necessary risk assessments, method statements and COSHH certificates.
Ryjock ensures all its operatives hold a CITB CSCS health & safety Card and have fully understood all aspects of our Company policies.
It is part of Ryjock’s policy to ensure that all work is performed in the safest practicable manner and consistent with good practice. The health & safety of our operatives & employees and all those likely to be affected by our operations is the responsibility of our site supervisors, and as a priority, it ranks above productivity and profit. Adequate resources will always be made available to ensure that these guidelines are adhered to. All our operatives & employees are aware that they will receive full supervised support if they reasonably choose the safety of employees or third parties as a priority over the demands in production.
